Hello, Second Period!

For your ORB written assignment, I am requiring you to make three postings abou your ORB on this blog. You must choose three different options from the "blogging optins" handout (on First Class). I am looking for your commentary, which should make obvious why your ORB "educates your conscience."

Please, adhere to the expectations explained on the rubric (also on First Class).

LeBron James Acrostic

LeBron James, one of the greatest basketball players who ever lived. He is currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and has been on the US Olympic team in 2004 and 2008. He is a great role model, and is a good person.
Energetic, he started playing basketball in the fifth grade. he made friends that he has kept ever since. Little Dru and Sian, his two best friends, have always been by his side, even when he went pro.
Big-headed in High School, he appeared on the February 2001 edition of Sports Illustrated. He lost more games, so he dialed down his cockiness. Even when he went pro, he was never arrogant again.
Ridiculously good, he was drafted to the NBA right out of High School. He never went to college, and because of his paycheck, he doesn't need to.
Obsessed with basketball, he changed high schools to recieve a better education and to receive more opportunities for college.
Never giving up, he lived with friends until his mother got back on her feet. she wanted him to be safe, and he respected her decisions. His friends actually persuaded him to pursue basketball

Sherlock Holmes

I think in the book Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes presents cleverness and intelligence by known where people have been or done just by what they wear or use. " Now, you will observe that he could not have been on the sttaf of the hosipital, since only a man well-established in a London practice could hold such a position, and such a one would not drift into the country." He knows that the masn has worked in the country and a little about his life. I think that shows his personality and adds to the story.
